In that colour the gt2 is truly a thing of beauty ? what is the name of it (the colour) if I can ask . . . . . I am guessing it is one of a kind/paint to sample ?

As long as you don't drive them both at the same time Tony. HaHa
Or maybe only have the plate on the rear. Less likely hood of getting stopped then. ;-)

Yep Johne123. It was my lucky day when you passed on the Green Dream Machine.
Not so lucky with the Carrera GT, that boat has Defo sailed.

Correct slippydiff, Rainforest Green, only 1 in rhd....Comfort spec with loads of leather inside :-)

Thanks Chaps , truly mouthwatering lick thought initially it was the dark green that the 996turbo s was offered in, but, I don't think it is, looks lighter/brighter.

Stunning looking machine yes

Edited to say, when I look at Slippys link to the JZM ad I think it is the same, looks even better on a gt2, or it is merely the "skill of the photographer" making it look even better rolleyes

RF Green always looks better in the flesh than in pics.
I am a fan of it I hasten to add. Very rare.

Pics taken with my IPhone6, so nothing fancy :-)
Funnily enough I never think my car looks the same colour as the other Rainforest cars I have seen. Mines always seems to look darker too me and not as green.....
Chance for another pic..HaHa

Had a great morning at Goodwood today; spotted one other 96 GT2 and a 97 GT2. Very, very wet on the way there so tomorrow is a clean and wax day. Highlight was cruising back in a convoy: a Miura SV, a 288 GTO and us along the M27 and part way up the M3. A very rare sight.

I decided against it. Would have been a 0530 start and with the rain plus a few beers last night, I wasn't exactly 'feeling' it.

I can remember when I lived in Sweden there was a 993 TT in that colour at the local car sales place , at first I was not sure if it was right but after seeing it a few times it is just so right smile

Didn't a girl buy that RFG car about 6 years ago from Paragon as I recall? Nice to see it back in circulation I often wondered about it.

I seem to remember everyone on here slating it at the time but it looks pretty good to me. And given the number of plant-friendly carbondioxides it makes, a very appropriate name.

Had my Gt2 out last weekend and did 600 odd miles around Wester Ross in the Scottish Highlands.
I took a run down to Cornwall over the Easter weekend, very pleasant car and covers distance easily without being too uncomfortable at the end at all. Keeps you interested as soon as you leave the motorways too smile Mind you, even on the motorways it's fun blasting up to "70mph" between the gaps in light traffic in a childish sort of way.

EAGLE eyes!

I don't remember them having the correct fitment or rating when I was looking for tyres for mine. Was only getting the MPSports N4?

They're donkeys years old, one of only two tyres originally specc'ed for the GT2 from the factory.
