Mine has a Miltek, the car came with this and it sounds great. If ever sold up I would put the standard one back on but I think for a car thats so raw, the standard exhaust does not match the
looks.
looks.

Yes. I have a Gemballa on the one and a 9FF on the other. The Gemballa has the cats removed AND the silencer internals discarded. It sounds truly immense with the turbo's whistling up and down the rev range, has a wicked crack on up-shifts and gobs flames out. It is loud....
The 9ff is switchable unit (with valves) so is far more sensible. It will be taken off the Clubbie and a standard one put back on so as to put the car totally back to standard. Less aggressive than the comfort with the Gemballa but a massive improvement over OEM which kills the car IMO.
Do it.
Thanks for the feedback, whats the motorway drown like? The 9ff is switchable unit (with valves) so is far more sensible. Popped in to see how my "little" project is doing and they had this original GT40 in for some work
before the Classic series really kicks off.
I'm literally a mile away.

I hope the summer is long & dry so I can enjoy my reborn 997 GT2!
Just collected the car after the grit & wear of 6 years in Dubai was removed & reversed & I now have a beauty of a car to enjoy.
Long list of fixes - new clutch, all calipers reconditioned with new pads, two new dampers at the front, alignment set for UK roads and a few cosmetic corrections to the interior. An expensive list of repairs but the difference to the car is amazing.
Just glad I brought it back to the UK from Dubai.
Time to enjoy it.
