You don't realize how wide the rear wheels are on a GT2 until you remove them.

All set for our road trip tomorrow, really looking forward to just spending time behind the wheel.

Hi j

Have a great trip see you in a couple of weeks

Car made it to the Netherlands with ease. Car is totally transformed on the smooth roads out here, amazed at just how hard the car pulls over 130, it feels blisteringly quick.

130 m/h ?
50km/h over 130km/h (=112m/h) we in Holland loose our driver-licence. You only have to pay a big fine at the spot.
Wait for Germany, no restrictions on most parts of the Motorway. There is a big Porsche meet in Boblingen near Stuttgart tomorrow.
Have a nice drive.

The road was dead straight and billiard table smooth so right foot had a major itch.

Not to be repeated until Germany. Netherlands is stunning ! Staying at Chateau St. Gerlach which is about 50 min from Zolder so hopefully will find a lovely tree lined route in the morning and just take a nice easy drive. I Saw 37Degrees on the counter, extremely hot.

Made the "Jump to light speed" on the AutoBahn and have you ever had that feeling of airy ness where everything slows down.
Got upto a very big number and thought that's it I have work Monday and another car yet to drive. The car feels like it could do with a 7th gear because it pulls like mad In 6th.
I've reached my human limit with this car but that's life preservation for you.

Let's just say the cars Fast !!!!!

The Force was strong but it could have turned to the dark side very quickly lol.

Heading upto the Ring now but I think the Rock fest is on, cool place to hang anyway as
There is always cars around.

Anything over 180mph is a bit trouser testing isn't it.

Braking from those speeds is the only weak point of the carbon ceramics.yikes
I had a trouser clenching moment at Vmax in the GT2, having become accustomed to the braking power of iron brakes and front engine even a hard stop from 206mph 4up was less scary.

I started to think about Elvis Lol so backed out of it. Car felt rock solid but to really push on I need to raise
The car a bit as it has not been set up for flat out Autobahn driving. Upto 140 was brilliant but after that the rate
that you gain on cars in front was shocking, even going round slight kinks at speed got my heart rate up, God help you if
You come of the throttle mid corner at thoughs speeds.

I've never really known what the car will do but after this trip, my respect has grown further for it because the roads allowed me to really use full boost in all gears without checking in your mirror.

Next road trip is in this animal as it will need running in, no headlining, Tin work everywhere and two very
Loud exhausts. The headphones are on order.

And back, I could have easily carried on to Switzerland and just drove around for weeks in this car. The car felt like it was built
from Granite, it devours the AutoBahn at a dizzying rate when called upon, was serious fun around the twisty roads near Zolder
and also returned 28.5MPG. Grin factor off the scale !

They don't build them like this anymore folks so go out and Buy one !
