as I have said before me and my brother bought our car 50/50 .anyway he has decided he might want to put some money in property .if someone wanted our car and would pay £200.000 then I would have to sell it .I know it is a lot of money but it is the only red mk2 and done just under 13000 miles with fpsh .im not advertising it because most people on here know the car anyway .I just thought id mention it on here to see what people think ?

Awesome cars but I can't see why they would be more than a 996 RS that currently isn't selling for more than 150k with 9k miles.

Wow 200k for a 996 gt2

Is there something special about this particular car warrant the price?

I think both cars 6RS and GT2 will both end end up around the same figure for different reasons both great cars and as I've said before you need to drive both to see why

Regarding the Red MK2 I believe there was only only 1 C16 MK2 that come into the UK and it's fully spec'd that on its own has a cost

Who knows but current mkt tells me an RS will always be priced over a non RS model 997 GT2 vs GT2RS for example. It's all bonkers at mo and I expect some correction

I really want a 7 GT2 but at current levels I think they're too dear. Having said that I know dealers who have paid £150k trade for decent examples. I'm not so sure this correction is coming....

Dam. Wish you were advertising it. I would be interested , but as this isn't an advert I guess I will have to wait till its on the classifieds.

Yes that has a large part of it as well but I maintain the mkt largely goes for the RS badge not that I always agree to it

perhaps after meeting up at trinity bouy wharf yesterday I don't rally want to sell it .that is why I said that price.i can persuade my brother its a keeper its not costing us any money and as its only half mine I still wouldn't have enough to buy a decent spec 991 gt3 like larrys. love that car.

.great to meet everyone yesterday.i know that car in the advertisement has less miles than ours but it isn't as well spec,d

agree but the later cars aren't a patch on the 993 in terms of desirability for many reasons. Having said that pls don't post reasons to buy one as I start getting itchy fingers and man maths comes in to play. I hope the red 7 GT2 sells before I get back from the Middle East in Sept lol

Not for everyone. The only reason I'd prefer a 993 in my garage over the 996 that is there now is because of the value. From a driver/ownership/looks point of view I personally much rather have a 996/7. Just going to fetch mine in a few minutes from a full geo reset, 997 shifter, new rads and new pss9's. Will post up some pics tonight (if I'm still alive, it's pissing down with rain here..)

Washed the other day, not using it much at the moment due to the Cayman R being easier to get down our driveway! Might bring it to the Ace Cafe next Monday, anyone else going?

Looks put to one side for a moment, more importantly what are the 993 varients like to drive compared to the 996 and 997 versions?

The look of the car can go in and out of favour over the years, but the driving and driver experience tends to remain the same although that sometimes get flavoured with nostalgia!

Anyone driven a real 993 GT2 on here? What was it like?

I think the 996 GT2 is best looking 911 full stop! Certainly my bias have increased since getting one... smile

If anyone is uncertain about the colour of their GT4, how about this?
