Been out boosting in the Swedish countryside, on good roads is a ton of fun, you just can't best the turbocharged feel imho, no waiting for revs to build the power power is just there. Can't wait to get it on track so I can push it a bit. Only problem is being a 996 it's so damneed ugly!

Jonnie I've seen your car it's lovely and rare in red with pccb. You probably paid what 50-55ish for it? Unless there is something you want to replace it with just keep it. It'd never gonna be worth less than you paid for it and as you say when you get to drive it you love it.
I only sell when there Is another toy I want . So, the question is what would you replace it with ?

The latest AUTOCAR gave the 996 GT2 a slating saying that it was the worst of the GT range. When I think back to how awful my car handled before the GEO check and freshen of all the suspensions parts, I tend to agree. It is unfair to drive a GT2 that is still on factory settings or for anyone to drive a tired example. I have never driven a car that is so set up sensitive.

Took a drive down to Fearnsport yesterday, lovely roads near Stowe by the way.
Fearnsport always has a brilliant range of cars. True car guys.

But surely 'worst of the GT range' is a bit of a paradox, like 'ugliest Victoria's Secret model' laugh

That's in the current issue? In what context are they judging it?

I was there today collecting my 996T after some sterling work by Matt. Agreed, always mouth watering looking around some wonderful Porsches smile
