Keep hold of the Mk2 wheels, as you and I both know how much those 12" rears cost. Put them in storage and put the MK1 wheels on for a period of time, then you can always swap back and forth as the mood takes.

I'm sure Karl will kindly offer to keep them safe for you :-)

I'm guessing that was your car in the last copy of 911 and Porsche World.

Your car has MK2 status Karl, that's more than enough to compensate for the wheels.

Had a brill day on Sunday so looking forward to the next one. I'm back working in the States end of
The month but will look at dates.

It was a strange spec looking at the Coys brochure. Unless it's a MK2 the horsepower rating was wrong and also
Mentioned refurbished discs from Simco but it was on steels at the front and PCCB rears. They were probably waiting
for the fronts to be returned from Germany.

Was this Jessica's old car ?
May be it helps:

Excellent James. Very pleased with this. I believe your nephew was going to inspect them? Please post pictures on here if you can. I always get excited seeing newly refurbished discs, even though I must have seen 100's of pairs before! biggrin

Congratulations on your milestone too!

I will get my fronts done next year as I want them nice and fresh. Do you remove the Bell or does the disc have to be sent without the bell. I have heard that there is a risk of damage to the disc trying to remove the bell ? Oh and most importantly how much for getting the fronts done.
Much appreciated.

Hi

Prices are on here

http://www.ceramicdiscrefurbishment.com/pricelist

Expect upto a 6 week turn around. It is sometimes quicker but depends on the backlog.

Best to send complete discs with hats etc as it will make re-assembly easier and less stress for the customer.
