Merry Xmas to all the Gt2 crew. See loads appearing now for sale. Here's one that will not be appearing in the classifieds anytime soon. Probably had it 6 years, here's to the next 6 :-)
Merry Christmas.I know its not F40 money but the 996 GT2 is my dream car since Uni so I know if I Sold mine and then wanted another one down the line, I'm not going to get that exact car in that colour with MK2 wheels. I made that mistake with my mint 355 before the price went through the roof so not making that mistake again and that car ment half as much. Lol imagine if you sold up now and then wanted one in a few years when a ropy one is going for 250k lol, I think I would feel sick !!
Besides I'm actually really starting to enjoy and appreciate owning something that is now starting to be appreciated as a true classic in terms of drivers cars and being the last of a breed.

Hi all,
Was also thinking of a trip towards end of summer in September, around week of the 12th. Few different cars is the plan, heading to Switzerland, doing a few of the passes and heading back via Reims and the old motor racing circuit. Once I have a firmer plan I'll update should anyone be interested.
Cheers
Mark

As per the earlier thread, lots of GT2's in the classifieds?
Seems a couple of traders are listing the same car, so I guess SOR?
Even one at an OPC, interesting now you can also stick an official OPC warranty on cars up to 15 years old now.
Anyone going to do this for peace of mind?
And to the GT2 gang, have a great new year and look forward to next years events.

Who thinks the Mk1 wheels look more aggressive than MK2's. Its funny how styles go round in circles but Im starting to really like the smooth stealth look of the old ones. I didn't really appreciate the Old wheels but I'm starting to get the design. Porsches !
