Definitely a menacing sight. smile

P.S. Blackbirds (SR-71) are strategic reconnaissance aircraft, not bombers, but I 100% get what you mean. wink

You know what I mean Lollll, it was brilliant to the point Im glad we stopped half way to meet the others, because I had such an adrenaline rush following the GT2 in front, I had to calm down. It was crazy, we joined the motorway after hitting some incredible roads only to have another GT2 slot in at perfect timing. Having another GT2 hounding behind you through roundabouts was something I don't think I will ever forget (Kal, thanks for the close but very precise driving), I came close to selling it for a 991 GT3 but the way how the car still looks which actually is starting to enter that classic but menacing stage, I'm glad Ive got it still because I don't actually think I could replace it and thats why I built the Street Bully i.e. Hot Rod because its totally different.

How can I describe yesterday ? I think this pic says it all.

I felt like I was part of the US Black Bird bombers with 5 GT2s on the motorway., what a menacing site

Truly great day, with the GT2 firm
Gutted I missed this frown

I found a load of pictures of my car on one of those sites, not that I was looking for my car on there or anything self absorbed like that smile

Detailed mine last week, looks mint now.

I know exactly where you live. I have been in your house. I live in the next village.

Don't be afraid. hehe
hehe

The people we bought from seemed to know everyone, most people I've met know the house or have been in it!

Good to know there's other PH people nearby.

You were missed. It was the drive that made it. Great show but like most of these get togethers, its the journey there !

Paul Stephens has loaded up John's car, I hope it finds a good home as its got to be one of the best at a fair price in my opinion, to any serious collector.

1 of 1 !

Just to assuage any worry;

My Dad used to play tennis with the guy who owned (IIRC built) the place. I used to ride BMXs with his son (who also still lives locally). Now we've 'grown up' we ride mountain bikes instead. They're decent people and, as you say, well known in the area.

Give us a wave!

Ahhh, I see. My wife grew up a few streets away and her uncle also plays tennis with the previous owner at the local tennis club hehe

They're lovely people and we hope we haven't upset them too much by making a few changes to the house over the last year.

Will look out for your car, let me know if there's any local car meets and I'll pop along.

Cheers

Think this was the last time I saw John's car, it is a very very nice example with some nice factory fit extras, PCM2 and carbon come to mind so I hope it finds a good home.

I very much doubt whether it would even occur to them to worry about what you've done to your property, notwithstanding the fact they were happy there for a good while,.

I guess there must be a few more PHers about; the guy who owns the big, white house you can see opposite yours, a few fields away has a 997 GTS and a Merc SLS, and his next door neighbour has a 991 targa and rally's a 6R4.

No idea of much locally. I've been away from owning a 'fun' car for a few years and spent much of the last 12 months fettling my car to a standard dictated by my OCD. Hoping to use it a bit more...
