It was a great track, but we had mixed weather conditions which made it quite interesting when thunderstorms in a car with no driver aids wobble

Here's a bit of footage https://youtu.be/tCnBmYsYAHc

Looking forward to going back again in the future and hopefully be a dry day

Nice !
off again to le mans bugatti circuit in a few weeks time, can't wait smile

Just a magical few hours that sets you up for the week.
My idea of a good Sunday Roast ! Because the 996 shape is not so bulky like the new cars, its a lovely size to hustle down tight lanes especially were tractors are concerned.
Mindyou, you have to really keep an eye out for the Pheasants ! I actually pulled over at one point because I thought one went into the front side intake.

I have to say I still think this is probably the best looking 911 ever made, clean & very aggressive, no silly mad sharky vents, outrageous spoilers etc, just built for a purpose...to draw a parallel it ranks alongside a delta integrate for purity of purpose..

Love it!

Had 4 fantastic days in Austria, nice weather, good company and lots of unrestricted miles on the Autobahn.

Visited Hangar 7 of Red Bull

Drove the "Nockalmstrasse" (2x) https://www.nockalmstrasse.at/na/en/index

Went to the Porsche museum at Gmund and did the "Grossglockner"

A perfect way to finish the day heading back to Koln through the mountains watching the Sun go down.
Back tomorrow for the Blancpain race series on the GP circuit.
Thoughs who know me know I'm a polisher but I'm also a driver so no cotton wool in my garage !

Great to see you enjoying the car for what it's built for.

Hi, I had the same problem on Alpine tours and also with underground garages in cities. Few years ago, I've had a front airlift (from Cargraphics) installed and have peace of mind since then.

Great pictures all, J nice one for taking the car around the 'ring....

Good times

My clutch has just started slipping, anyone had there's done recently? Cost? Worth upgrading? She's lasted 39k miles so not bad.

A couple of GT2s are at Silverstone Auctions next month, I might pop over on the Friday for a look.
