Do you really need to decat? You can get a 100 cell metallic HJS race cat that is road legal even in California.

Happy New Year all !

After being totally mucked about by someone trying to selling a set of Recaro Buckets, I am now on the hunt again. If anyone hears of any up for sale
I have £1.5k waiting for a set and will do a deal on my mint set of Crested comfort seats. Its the last piece of the puzzle for me and this car so Im really keen
to find a set.
Hope to see you all once the weather gets a bit better.
Best

Read article in Total 911 today. Didn't realise there were so many trick bits on this car. Can anyone tell us a bit more about some of the gears designed to be easily interchangeable for different circuit? Very good read. Last real drivers car without electronic aids out of Stuttgart ever!

You got to love these cars (laugh) its not often you see your own car on the road. Did someone say road presence ! It does make me giggle because
they look like such an angry car.

Could be the worst pic of a GT2 ever. It looks bit like the Lambo is about to fell it like a tigress would a wildebeest!

Possibly smile but thats what manufactures thought about the Porsche 962 before they actually went up against it.

Also has rolled rear wheel arches to allow larger wheels/camber.

Turbo doesn't have these.
Some/all X50 optioned cars do.
scratchchin don't think there is any body differences in turbo whether x50 or not or S

There, is, though in my experience, there's not a lot of consistency. I've seen X50 cars with the factory rolled arches (just like the GT2) and cars without them. I've get to see a "standard" 420hp car with them.

Very odd, will take you word for it - did Porsche communicate that spec difference as I have never heard of it despite being a bit of a 996tt anorak?

For anyone interested the GT Purely Porsche 996 GT buyers guide article is in this months edition. A few of us on here had our cars featured in the article.

I love that interior colour. Wish I'd gone for it with a forest met green exterior.

Had loads of paint apparently, a guy viewed it before viewing mine. (masking marks)
Not sure about the interior not sure it works on a GT2 but the car looks well

But really, was there any need to spec dog diarrhea brown?vomitvomit

I hate the way Porsche do the entire interior in the colour, probably would work a lot better with just the seats and door cards & gear gaitor etc in the colour scheme....
