I've just booked Le Man24 using travel destinations to stay in the PCGB camping area, and will be driving down in the GT2 on the Friday. Could be a good run down if any other GT2's are heading down drop me a PM, as we have a pretty good convoy shaping up so far.
Hi mate We have about 25 of us going from the london region this year sadly not taking the cars though as we have hired 4 camper vans, getting to old for this tent lark, were all on the Lycian site on the inside of porsche curves
Always great fun can't wait
See you soon
My move to the US with work is looking very very likely, so I have to ask myself some serious questions about my car, I know it be be so hard to find another in the same condition and mileage but I've put it up on the classifieds to test the water, it's not priced for everyone for sure but those of you that have seen the car know how good it is and that is reflected in the price I'm asking.
I'll still be going to Le Man24 and a few other events this year as the move isn't until the summer, if the GT2 isn't sold then it will go into storage in the UK and that's that.
Hope to see some of you at events over the spring and summer.

Good luck with it, having seen the car I don't think you're asking too much for it, can't imagine there will be another opportunity for someone to buy a 996 GT2 like this.I'll still be going to Le Man24 and a few other events this year as the move isn't until the summer, if the GT2 isn't sold then it will go into storage in the UK and that's that.

You could probably make a few quid selling the green engine label to KAL before you sell the car, I reckon that's worth £1,000

A quality car at the right price. I would not part with mine for less than 70k. Regardless of market value because thats what these cars are worth and will be worth eventually.I'll still be going to Le Man24 and a few other events this year as the move isn't until the summer, if the GT2 isn't sold then it will go into storage in the UK and that's that.

If the funds are needed then of course sell it, but if you can I would tuck the car away because you will kick yourself trying to find another good example when you return. Just look at the stock
levels now and that will tell something, people that understand these cars and respect how to drive them simply don't sell them because its a hard car to replace. I tried that last year with the whole Gen 2RS journey and all that did was make me realise that I own the car that I was searching for.

Perfect ! i did Le Mans two years ago and the showers were awful I think this is the way to go.The catering is superb as is the showers and toilets (cleaned two or three times a day)
Car is at CG for some serious TLC, all for struts off to Belstein for a freshen, new rubber to all four track control arms and full GEO oh and the end to a rattle in the top mount bearing that is driving me knuts on slow bumpy roads. Car should drive and feel like new afterwards. A new clutch towards the end of the season and before you know it, I would have almost replaced every part on the car to new. Owning the car has been a long term project of simply driving it and maintaining with no expense spared as its a keeper. By the way, I can highly recommended Chris, the man knows his stuff !
The GT2 was given a small workout this morning in the sunshine,it was spotted in the car park by a German tourist whilst getting a coffee. He recounted the times he was at the ring on his bike mixing it up with the GT2's.
Now back in the garage exhaust clicking as it cools.
Great day great car!

I do feel for the 991 GT3 boys with the weather like this, they must be tearing there hair out with not being able to collect or even drive the cars.
