Clearly not a secret but when you buy a car like that you don't want to have to trawl the internet, go calling around etc to find out the basic spec.
If I was selling it myself I would tell the complete history, speclist etc etc on first point of contact. Boom, they would've sold the car.
They made me hesitate, doubt and lose interest.

My carbon wing arrives on Monday. Are they straightforward to fit?

Very straight forward, your need some light thread lock for the spoiler forks. Remember to have the engine lid open when fitting to avoid possible damage to rear wings. edit...found a link

Let me know if you need any pointers.
We will almost have matching cars when your done. :-)
One tip to get good alignment on the forks and brackets is to position the blade on with the forks not fully tightened so you can finesse the position of them, then remove and torque them down to correct number.

Will dig them out as I do have them, forks to blade are low, main fixing bolt is higher but I'll get the exact values.
Much appreciated. No rush, assuming no damage on its way from DB Carbon (fingers crossed!), I won't have the wing until Monday so that's the very earliest I'll start looking at it. The new carbon mirrors look a very easy fit and I already have the carbon air intake in the front PU.
Very looking forward to getting everything installed although I have to say, the longer I have the car the more I like the silver.
Quite tempted by some kind of stripe! Something with a very subtle shade difference like you find on the 997 Sport Classic.

It's going to look a lot like mine :-)https://flic.kr/s/aHsk12Qp3R
Wasn't going to commence removal until the new wing arrived but I had an hour free so made a start.
I've removed the cover which reveals the large bolts and slackened them off to the last couple of turns. Opened the engine cover and then attempted to pivot the wing towards the front of the car. The wing doesn't want to release further - anything I may be missing?

Not removed it yet, I'll have another look this afternoon.
The shim the bolt secures is free to move.
To confirm, with the engine cover raised, I'm manoeuvring the trailing edge of the wing toward the front of the car and down?
With engine lid open, lift the trailing edge up towards front of car, it should pivot on the fork and then come free. The shim the bolt secures is free to move.

Bit of an odd market for the GT2 at the moment. No "proper" cars around. As far as I'm aware, two of the three cars on the market have history (BHP and Aspect), and the third is the Malton "RS" which seems cheap at £49,995 but with non OE wheels and wing. Probably worth taking it back to standard and adding £10K to the price?
Your not wrong. A mate spent a few months looking for one until he gave up and found a couple of nice GT3's.He saw a silver one promised as a sharp car that had obviously had a new front end with hungry non factory seam sealer under boot carpet. The other was black and described as standard, but had left the factory red! It seems by their very definition they were thrashed, crashed and tuned. Getting a nice original car is hard and will cost a premium but I think long term would be safe money if u can find one.
