I've driven a 996 GT2 on them briefly, seemed quieter and rode better than PS2's.
But..... ran them on my first Mk 1 996 GT3, they were utterly hopeless, very pressure critical (2-3psi drastically altered how the car drove) whereas the PS2's would happily tolerate 5psi without issues).
The Pirellis flat spot when left in the garage for several days after a hard run, it then took a few miles for them to return to being round again.
Finally their grip level decreases quite drastically as they wear, and they get noisy too (though still not as noisy as PS2's, which admittedly are poor from that perspective).
The Pirellis were more refined than the Michelins, but that wasn't exactly high on my list of requirements on the GT2 ....

Thanks Guys)
Better stick with the Michelins as I'm use to the characteristics of them now after 6 years. I get about a year out of mine because of my ride height. I average about 3-4 miles a year. I planned a Monaco trip for business in a couple of weeks but I'm taking the car so that average mileage has gone out the window. Looking forward to Route Napoleon. Anyone done this solo before ?

Any more for the Simply Porsche event at Beaulieu, could try and meet up for the run down there. Let me know if interested otherwise I will go to Goodwood .
On cameras I like the Go Pro Session, really compact and good quality video but doesn't do all the g force and other stuff some of the car focused cams do if you want that.
