I personally think that doesn't look bad tbh. *I* wouldn't put later wheels on an older car though, likewise i wouldn't put gen 1 turbo wheels on a gen 2 turbo - might look good but doesn't seem right. If you *have* to change your rims, go aftermarket - 30 mins Googling 'Porsche 996 wheels' should throw up some ideas.
