Thread resurrection aside, which coincidentally happened to be bang on as the all new one is unveiled, numbers on the first page seem like wishful thinking - where are these 35k Panny Turbos? At any age, never mind 3 years old!
I have to say the new pan looks much nicer especially from the rear.
Had a quick look at engine options!
4s Derv version available with a 0-62 sub 5 seconds. but starting price of 92k HOLY fk!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I know, I also wonder if it's pre- or post-Brexit pricing, although you have to assume VAG are smart enough to hedge their fx exposure. Tariff changes on the other hand...

That's pretty interesting; we're about to collect a Golden Retriever and I'm looking for something to replace my m135i as a daily.

Panamera is pretty high on my list, but I was concerned about getting a pooch in the boot. Does he cope well with long journeys? We go from the North West to Gloucestershire fairly regularly so it'd need to be quite comfy for him.
She loved being in the car.
Only sold it because a right spec GT3 came up.
mind you, she likes being in that one too !

Residuals on cars like this are generally no where near as low as the finance companies suggest.
The top end Turbo models, and even the lower models generally hold their value well as Porsche control the market well.
You wont get a 3 year old Pan Turbo for much less than £60k even trade. Retail more like £70k.
At 6 years old you might get one around £40-£45k that's leggy.

the porsche used car market is currently bonkers and is currently defying gravity. I won't wade into the bubble debate too much but a £50k used trade-in on a 6 year old panny turbo aint bad going.

For this very reason I sold mine today! I have been looking at 991's and OPCs have been low balling me massively with no movement. I just sold it for 5k more to WBAC than any OPC would offer. Feel like I have had a huge result. Search for the new car continues.

Still a cracking car but I think they are about to shed some serious ££££'s

I still think they should produce a GT/E version

I was gobsmacked and booked it straight in - and they knocked me down for some little dings which I hadn't told the OPC's about!

The best bit is I bought it at a BCA auction a year ago and actually got £300 more for it when I sold it to WBAC :0)

This is interesting! I am looking to get out of mine before the new ones send the gen 1 prices plummeting, and I too have had a good offer from WBAC! How much did they knock you down on bits if you don't mind me asking? I have 2 alloys that need repairing (mad) and a dint where someone opened a door into me. WBAC are offering 3k more than an independent offered me today...

Sorry for the super slow reply. They knock me for about 700quid. There was a funny discrepancy on the mileage in the first year of its life which looked like a typing in error when the car had been in. They knock 300 off for that and then 400 for the little issues that they found. At first they tried to knock more off but I haggled and got an extra few hundred. The reality was it was still a shed load more than any dealer had offered me.

No problem, thanks very much!

I ended up selling to an independent for just over what WBAC were offering;

OPC - 51.7k
WBAC - 52.3k
Independent - 52.5k

Not a huge difference, but they all count. Specially seeing it cost 72k 9 months ago vomit

Into an RS7 for 12 months to give the new Pan the chance to depreciate, will pick one up lightly used as I don't massively want to go brand new again!

Cheers!
