What does your PCM mpg indicate around town and on a 70mph run? My V6d shows 28 and 38 respectively.
My 3.0d indicates similar: around 32mpg in pure <30mph urban driving, and 40mpg on a pure motorway run. I drove a 400 mile round trip from Windsor to Liverpool a few weeks ago and averaged exactly 40mpg on the trip computer. Mind you, my car only has 4000 miles on the clock, so it isn't really run in yet.

Just been on the configurator, can't see a sport design kit available and a few other options missing which were available for the previous version

Out of morbid interest, I've just run my Cayenne's config through new website, and it's almost exactly £8k more expensive than I paid in March this year redface

Will probably follow in a few months, as was the case when the previous model came out, but the Turbo II alloys have gone as well !!

That's pretty good going on the MPG front. I've got the 3.0d too but manage 24mpg as a measured average. Check out the details below:

Yes I know, seems a bit tame, Cayenne sales need to slow up, so that Porsche do some meaningful options, almost seems as though the thought process is does not matter they will by them anyway.

Heres looking forward to 2017, by then there will be a few other SUV's to choose from

At least we can buy one unlike RR Sports. I can get a Cayenne V6D before the year end even with the backlog that built up with the pre facelift shortage & summer shutdown but I'd have to wait until March 2015 to get a RRS.

Seen a few RRS over the past few days and I think they are gopping, esp. from the back.

I’m surprised by how "tame" that facelift is. I expected a 300hp+ V6D and PDK in all cars.
Current Cayenne owners must be happy because there’s really no reason to switch from a pre-FL to a FL from what I can tell. Good for residuals too.
The 2017 Plugin-Hybrid should be interesting.
That sums it up well for me! smile

No new engine and the differences in power output and body changes are minor. There is no new colour option that would tempt me as I don't want another black car. All in all there isn't enough to make me hanker after a new model, I can save the dosh and not worry about any significant reduction in the value of my current vehicle especially with the current shortages.

No plans to change here either, unless they do a crafty preview night and ram sufficient quantities of fizzy wine down my neck.

Might be tempted into a used facelift V8d in 2 or 3 years time.

swopped my UK 4.2d for a Macan....big mistake got a new one 4.2d coming on .launch day, only 1 or 2 Mpg, if any at difference in MPG over the 3.0d, and yet 9.10s of the performance of the Turbo.
Just for interest, why the 'eck did you get rid of the V8d so soon after buying it?

I kept the V8S 14 months and did over 23k miles. Not in UK much, also imv looks very dated from the outside, So went for the Macan, great car. But only for 2 and young kids, no room for 2 adults, or mountain bikes, ect, will keep the Macan, but going back to a V8S Oct del for daily work..

If I know him, you're more likely to get blood from a stone. He'll probably 'PM you'...
odd comment...if I can I always offer guidance...

Didn't mean to sound odd, it's just on some things you rightfully take it 'off-line'.

I would certainly share my thoughts and experiences on cars, but as for special deals, I prefer to keep those under my hat.
apart from having the 1st cars, in UK. don't think I have had a special deal on P for years.....at the end of the day its down to your OPC just how much he wants to knock off, nos seem pretty low in UK, across the range....
