ah maybe a bit more than, low 50's would be my estimate
Sounds about right. Spec and colour are the big variables...sounds like the first of those you have covered! There are not many good spec cars around.
from Porsche, nothing less than 60, cheapest car is a 14 plate at an indy for low 50s

Just musing my wife likes the new Pana, but they have got a bit lumpy esp the new V8d, which whilst looking fab is over 90 before ticking boxes....
Looking on the OPC site there are three 2014 64 Reg cars that are all under £60k. One has a dodgy spec but the other two are okayish spec. Colchester, Bolton and Swindon have them. High spec will obviously be worth a bit more. Personally I'd buy on spec!

Yup you have to REALLY want the V8D Panamera....when you include the additional spec you get on the Hybrid it's about ,£15k cheaper. I was going to buy a Cayenne Hybrid ex demo but lost my bottle and that was one of the reasons...if they price the new Cayenne Hybrid as aggressively current model Hybrids will be worth feck all.

Flip side is I reckon the V8D will be best part of £70k when the new Cayenne comes out...
With regards to current Cayenne unless you can capitalise on the business tax rebates of the e-hybrid your better off getting the V8D and i've owned both,so Cheib i think you made a wise choice. In contrast with the new Panamera imv the only version which makes any financial sense to buy is the 4e hybrid even if you can't claim tax allowances, and the reason i've got one coming next spring.
You'll be getting your PEC invitation soon I expect? That will be a lot of fun!

Ah, that reminds me, I've not had word of my Cayenne PEC visit. Done several in various cars, what's the Cayenne experience like? Can you drive on the 'track' or is it only off-road?

I've seen a Macan on the track and you have to use the track to get to the kick plate and ice hill etc?

I've already got four unused PEC invitations to use first,i'm probably going to have to book a hotel for a week and use all five up as i'm hoping to get a 991.2GT3 and a new type Cayenne hybrid next year on top!

I've done a Cayenne PEC day and it includes both the track and the offroad track and very insightful of both aspects of the Cayenne.

You can probably bunk in with the instructors....they come from all over the country and live together in a "big brother" house during the week and go home at weekends.

With that order book I'll be gutted for you if you don't get a 991.2 GT3 ....

ps If you do get it and can't use your GT3 PEC day I can offer it a very good home!

I had a s diesel three years ago and was very pleased with it, went to a 991 GT3 after that which I had for 18 months 9,500 miles, possibly my favourite car. Then went for a 958.2 3.0d Cayenne which IMHO is very good, do a lot of long return trips to S of France, great mile muncher, I have good spec with 18 ways, roof, LED PDLS+, 21" wheels etc. etc.

I can honestly say, for me, the 3.0 is quick enough with good mpg (photo attached), from what I'm hearing the current Ad Blue SD has a somewhat muted exhaust tone which is a real shame as that was one big + I will certainly be ordering the new Cayenne if it gets the Audi RSQ7 lump and a coupe if poss.

I also have a 991.2 Turbo s with a view to swapping for a 991.2 GT3 next year fingers crossed!

Wife just picked her platinum edition up. Really pleased with it and good deal too!

Nice one! We are awaiting ours, we went white with 21" 911 design wheels.

Got an absolute bargain of a lease deal on it!

I would have expected slightly higher for the 3.0 on a run?

Looks like the cruise was set at 87.5mph with an Avg of 75. Not it's most economical speed smile

Cheeky I know, and of course I won't be offended if you would rather not say, and hope you don't mind my asking.

You're both saying you got a great lease deal. I'm practically on the point of pulling the trigger on a 3.0d Platinum Ed, with PASM and Metallic only (the car comes very well spec'd as standard) I'd be very interested to learn what you guy's have managed to negotiate.

As I say, cheeky but if you don't ask........

No problem at all. I kept the options to a minimum to keep costs lower. Only adding the 21" 911 Design wheels and driver memory seats.

On a 36 month deal, with 15k miles, £3800 deposit and £635 a month.

Nearly, more like 7%
Interesting.....

Was at OPC on Saturday having test drive of a Cayenne Diesel with view to possible Platinum Edition order, didn't get around to number crunching a deal, but 7% would bring it down to close to the deal I have on the table on a BMW X5, and given my build spec for both were very close in RRP, it's going to be a tough decision to be made this week between the two, especially as projected delivery for both is about the same as well.
Porsche was as expected, the much nicer to drive....
But, I have to say the BMW has the better interior and better comfort for me, plus the I-Drive etc., and the split tailgate which is a particular useful feature to me.
Hmmmmmmm.......decisions, decisions scratchchin

^^ I was in a similar dilemma to you and plumped for the X5 40e. Super happy with it.

Not sure you'd get 7% on a Platinum Edition. There are a lot of cars around though so worth checking with a few dealers. I didn't go for the X5 because I've already got one and wanted a change (previous generation but its very similar to the current) for me I thought that the Cayenne interior is a notch up in quality, rear space is a bit better and the Air suspension makes a difference to me...and the fact its a better drive.

Both still very good cars though.

In terms of quality of fit n finish, I'd agree with you, but in terms of quality of ergonomics, I thought the Porsche was abysmal with the plethora of buttons and gubbins on that centre console was a nightmare. Its probably not helped by the fact that I now need to drive in vari-focals, as while my eyesight beyond the windscreen is fine for driving without glasses, everything inside is just then an unfocused blur, and the focus zone in varifocals is quite small, so I found I was having to move my head like a nodding dog, trying to focus on each thing.
Seat comfort in the BMW with comfort seat option is much better for me as well, with both Porsche types giving me a different problem.
Rear space isn't a factor for me, but rear load space is, and BMW wins again, especially with the split tailgate and underfloor storage.
Tough decision, Porsche drove so nicely, with excellent steering for an electric system, and as you say, the full air option and better 4wd system is a big plus over the BM, as is all season tyre option on 20" rims.....

Bugger......might as well toss a coin laugh

I've got the Comfort Seats in my X5, hadn't tried better until I sat in the 18 way Adaptive's in the Cayenne...honestly think they're the best seats I have ever sat in! There are three seat types FYI...standard, 14 way and 18 way. We're all built differently though.

Load space is definitely better in the X5.

I know what you mean about the buttons vs iDrive...the latter is a much maligned system but it works well in my opinion. One reason I have gone for a new Cayenne was to get the latest PCM which is much better than the old one so hopefully brings it closer to the BM system.

Couldn't agree with you more, the 18 ways best seats I have had in a car, I went from a 2007 X5 to my Cayenne in 2012, world apart the Cayenne makes the X5 feel agricultural. I love the buttons like anything you get used to them
