Lumpy spec. Nice. I'm guessing that was 60k?

We nearly went white but bottled it and stuck with black!

Nice spec, yes over the moon with the wheels and painted inards & rears, but personally on a white car I would go all black with a slight satin mixed in, just my 2 cents

Great spec by the way, if you like your music get the Burmester it's exceptional

Thanks, the car is for March next year. Its just over 60k!

I think the car looks best in black.

Had meteor on last car, 997 C4S.

Like the freshness of white, although would be happy with any of these 3 colours, just wanted to do something different this time..

Cool. Ours should be starting production in the next couple of days.

Looking forward to it now. Bring on the bad weather!

Placed an order for the new diesel S recently and been quoted Jan next year. Had the normal 2012 cayenne diesel earlier this year although excellent i think the new model with 850 nm should make it absolutely perfect. Didnt go too crazy with the spec and came out at 67k not bad value considering you get another 130+ bhp compared to the v6 diesel.

I toyed with White myself but decided to play safe and go with black in case White goes out of fashion by the time I come to sell... a prejudiced view as it maybe nobody will want black in a few years time.

I admit that I'm not so sure about the black mirrors but very much look forward to seeing some pics... bet you can't wait.

Which reminds me that I haven't put up any pics of my own yet - although it is not now necessary as it looks identical to Blacktrees who is clearly a man with exceptionally good taste! smile

Quick question, are the mirrors folding as standard - dont recall an option to the effect, and not like Porsche to miss an opportunity to get a few more quid.

Hoping they are as it is a tight fit in the garage.

I believe they are, as I can't remember paying for them either

Would be interested to know what kind of mileage people are getting out of the all weather tyres?

Continental 'All Season' - 30,000 so far and still a few more thousand left.

Be very surprised if they were any worse than summer tyres - they dont degrade any quicker, this is a myth - they just dont perform to quite the same level in hot conditions.

Ours is now built - should be en route very soon.

BTW, after washing the car (and lets be honest, with black, that's probably what you'll spend most of your time doing) and before you dry the tailgate, it's best to raise it for 5 mins while you dry elsewhere to let any trapped excess run away.
Thanks for the advice on the tailgate Cobnapint..... think you are right. These wheels... beautiful that they are take some cleaning...It's not that they are difficult to clean but just take a bit longer than I would have liked. Glad I went into it eyes wide open knowing they would be a pain to clean. I couldn't decide if the 19's worked on the car or not and budget wouldn't run to the 21's so it was 20's just to keep them at a size that would aid resale... that's if I ever want to get rid of it.

Porsche are very clever with the designs of the wheels IMHO. There isnt a decent 19" design and 20" wheels are £2k+. No different from other manufacturers, but taking the piss that 2 inches extra per corner is £500!

We've kept the standard 18s which I keep telling myself saved us £2k AND will make it ride really nicely.

I'll keep my eyes peeled for a set of 20s though I suspect!!

1. Mine does the same. It takes a moment to see the water droplets from a wet start.
For info - apparently you have to be moving at more than 2.5 mph before the rain sensor becomes active.
