It does, spotted that one a few days ago and wondered. Seems to be no obvious reason why, safe colour, has sports chrono, mileage is highish but not overly so. 1 owner too.

What does 'this is a trade sale' mean?

Are they trying to sell it without warranty?

Probably part-ex trade. Anything from a trader is subject to sales of goods so always some warranty. Looks a good value car that the trader is trying to get rid of quickly. As long as you have an inspection by an Indy or opc you should be ok. if the opc one passes you can put on a two warranty with the money you have saved.

Got offered a high mile 997t manual for £28k a couple of weeks back, would have had it but had no space for it.

2 years on and there aren't many at £40k. Lowest on here is £42k (which I guess is £40k in real terms).

Are prices hardening a little? anybody know what they are going for in the trade?

I'd say for a decent one your looking at about £45-£50K.

I saw a few £43-£43k ones and tbh they were not in good condition. It's not what you pay for a car like this that's important it's how much you may need to spend in the next 6 months or so getting it right if it had not been prepared correctly

Having just sold my 997T this week I expect you will see a rise in their values....

I think that bit extra gets a good car. I just had a three month check done on mine, bumper to bumper.

Only things were a couple of stone chips, very small nick in bump stop on front suspension and wind deflector under car loose. That's it.

Really what makes you say that? I just got mine a few months ago, tbh it took a while to find a decent below average mileage manual car that was not waaaay over priced.
