Just finishing this for some summer fun.
Fortunately has a sleeved up 2.0 six (now 2.4 S spec) using a 2 into 2 dansk exhaust which sounds glorious!

Will drop it on a local dyno to set it up, but around 200 bhp should be acheiveable, given the modern JE pistons and headwork.
TBH its not about the power, infact almost the opposite as I have almost O/D'ed on that with the 700bhp 964 turbo.
Wanted something that wasn't going to give me the shakes before even putting the key in the ignition!
And how many 914's do you see tooling around these days?

200bhp...more than enough power, that will be a hoot to drive down a twisty B road making a glorious sound as it goes.

As you say not many 914's around...the forgotten Porsche...???
