For the first time in many years I'm Porsche-less!

Please say hello to the McLaren 650S biggrin

Was a totally spur of the moment deal - caught a glimpse of dihedral door in the window as I drove past! Excuse the poor pics but when I took them I didn't actually think I'd be buying it!

Collecting this weekend.

I'm printing this post off and keeping a copy of it handy for every future occasion where Mrs Digga tries to accuse me of being cavalier with money. Top man-shopping. Enjoy!

A friend who's has Elises for years finally revved himself up to buy one of these earlier this year and he absolutely loves it. I'm sure you'll have a hoot.

650S has to be the bargain buy atm, if you can call a car at £165k cheap, but look at LIST !
also in another league in speed to anything on the road.

Quite an exciting choice. :-)

If I were not starting a new company venture up, I was thinking about a 650S myself.
or even the baby 570S just because it sounds more driver focused.

0-125 mph in 8 seconds lol and doors which will turn every head.
makes 2nd hand 7 year old 458's look stupid prices.

great choice, hope you love it. at the end of the day it's a £250k car and the fastest thing on the road.

Looks really great that - the only thing I don't like (and don't get me wrong - it's lovely ! ) Is the brand logo - looks really cheap IMHO.

I wonder what the depreciation will be like on these , as someone said earlier the list price is good value (what would one pay for a properly speced one?) , but as we all know that has nothing to do with what they actualy "cost".

Either way way , enjoy in rude heath - it's a beast - love it in black , very batman. smile

I agree with you re the bonnet badge. The McLaren logo alone would have looked much more cool.

It looks fantastic but the drive is in a different league to anything else I've owned - if I could afford the depreciation and maintenance costs I'd use it every day! As I do approx 25k miles a year that's not a practical proposition for me so I'll stick to sunny weekends.

Love it.
