wait a sec, this picture has been elongated making the car look flatter, longer and more agressive. No?? It does look great, but Cayman's don't look like that!!
Haha, that comment has made my day! Nope...nothing altered, other than scaling it down to make it forum friendly, that's exactly how it came off the camera. It's a 'standard' Desgn Edition 1. I must admit though, there is a knack to taking snaps of a Cayman and this is it's best angle. I think the shadow under the car also maybe makes it look a little lower.Steve

it could also be the lens/camera distorting it slightly. What did you use to take the snaps?
I use a Fujifilm HS10. The exif data says the focal length was 7mm which roughly equates to 50mm in traditional 35mm non-digital terms. I'm no expert but, as I understand it, a focal length of 50mm gives the same perspective as the human eye...so that's not the answer ...maybe it does just look that good Steve
I'm sure it does look that good! I love the cayman. I normally don't like black ones and I thought yours looked uncannily cool so I had to work out why it looked better than the others.
OK, the lens is a 7mm so I wouldn't be surprised if it doesn't stretch the image a bit. It's a bit like a fish eye lens at 7mm, but the tiny sensor only uses the centre of the lens so you lose the wild distortion on the extreme edges.
Your Fuji camera is perfect for making cars look that little bit cooler! Great photo therefore!!
It would be interesting to take a photo of a ruler or something to see the real effect.
Best

Well at the moment Tom is has zero BHP and MPH. We are building it with new 9e911 kit which will demo at Vmax all being well. Prior to the build it ran 22.5 to 300kph, 28.25sec to 200mph and 205.6 in 1.18 miles. It will do 219mph although the max I have done is 209mph.
The engine is nearly finished and we will run at least 911hp (probably 950hp) on vpower99 with the new set up. The kit can run over 1100hp with better fuel and fueling system.
Our target is 16-18 seconds to 300kph, and 205mph in one mile. Top speed will not change.
Should get to drive her next week hopefully
