Wonderful! I would a put a SY in my garage if I could
Looks higher than factory?
Well spotted ! ! It's a combination of the camber the car is parked on, but I also tend to run my 911 GT cars at the maximum ride height specified in the factory tolerances. Whilst low is great on track, it makes them harder work on the road as they can suffer from tramlining and bumpsteer. In addition to which running them low means the brake ducts and the front splitter constantly deck out (and occasionally the luggage compartment floor on really tall speed ramps)Looks higher than factory?
Here's my black Manthey car, a tad lower than the SY car, but still not "slammed" by Mk1 standards.
And here's a couple more Manthey cars :

My toy on a recent trip around Europe:
In good company:
Great pics Dan, followed your updates with interest earlier in the year as you and SWMBO toured southern Europe. In good company:
Thinking about waiting until mine is out of official warrantee territory then modifying along the TPC / TechArt route.

Hiya Bubbles, very nice Cayman, spec looks awesome! Keep me updated on the project, I would love to provide feedback experience (all good) Re: TechArt. If you would like a closer look we can meet up at the Preston Breakfast meet some time. Thinking about waiting until mine is out of official warrantee territory then modifying along the TPC / TechArt route.
The piccies were taken last week, as we recently did another Euro trip (France, Germany, Switzerland, Italy, Slovenia, and back). Took loads of photos and vids, will write up the trip eventually. :-)

Were the rear bumper 'kidneys' an option do you know?
Lovely collection you've got there Simon Yep, the kidneys were a Tequipment part. I've just had mine "surgically" removed as I think they ruin the lines of the car (moreover, the pair of them weigh as much as the rest of the PU ! !) Here's what they look like from the front and behind :
To allow them be correctly aligned the fitter drilled a total of 18 oversize 10mm holes in the rear bumper. Each one distorts the PU around it, and makes a decent "repair" more difficult.

Thanks Henry!
Do you need a new bumper once they are off then? Apologies for minor thread hijack!
No Simon, I told my guys that replacing the bumper wasn't an option, the original had to be retained. I also requested nothing was painted above the fine swage line approx 4" from the bottom of the bumper. Do you need a new bumper once they are off then? Apologies for minor thread hijack!
In fairness to my paint guys, they did exactly that (they also did a superb job of fixing the 18 large holes) unfortunately they didn't have the car, just the PU, so they weren't able to do a spray out test to check the bumper colour matched that of the car.
In addition to which they laquered (not painted) the entire bumper and I think it's made the paint look "greener". Reluctantly I've had to send it back to rectify the mismatch in colours. A lesson learned, I know from previous experience that yellow can be a pain to match. I should've let them have the car, not just the PU.
