If so the wheels are the same size as the 5 spokers I see on the floor. It's just the tyre profiles which are different being +5 all round.

EDIT

Hang on

The 5 spokers on the floor could be 981 19 inch...

Been used a fair bit through the winter, so it was dropped off early this morning for a little TLC.

And that's my new co-pilot.

I agree with you re the bonnet badge. The McLaren logo alone would have looked much more cool.

It looks fantastic but the drive is in a different league to anything else I've owned - if I could afford the depreciation and maintenance costs I'd use it every day! As I do approx 25k miles a year that's not a practical proposition for me so I'll stick to sunny weekends.

Love it.

Congrats, fantastic cars.

That 991 GTS didn't last long ......... lol

Hope you keep this one longer than a few weekes, sorry meant few months ....... lol

Enjoy

That's how I want my steering wheel to look, but grey as I have a grey interior and I think black would look odd. I like the gearlever too, far better than my block of ice aluminium one!

Mine, though it hasn't been delivered yet...

I asked the seller to swap the black BBS Sport GT3 wheels for newly refurbished BBS Sport Classic IIs. I think I made the right choice.

Love a Guards Red 996, I don't think we sold any when I was selling them new. I sold a Guards 996 C4S, but the guy cancelled the order

Yeah I love Guards too. Not many 'base' 996 models around in Guards, they all seem to be GT and Turbo cars.

Can't wait to get my hands on it... been waiting all day for the transporter folk to call me and say when they're picking it up! Hopefully I'll get it tomorrow.

My 996 GT2 CS came with the expensive carbon steering wheel, which I immediately replaced with the much cheaper alcantara one from the GT3 RS. I still love it after many years of use. The carbon one sits in a box.

Top man, thanks Dan, just emailed them.

Hopefully catch up with you soon, be keen to check out your GT3. If you've finished cleaning it yet biggrin

I never liked the carbon ones even when they were new, I don't like the feel of them

Not a great picture at all.,,but if you look at the tiny aircraft in the distance at the upper left of the picture......

It is our local Lancaster out on its Saturday flight. I have flown in this thing and it is amazing.....
