Horrible compression on the Pistohheads upload beta. What's the best way to get better photos up?
If you click/press on the thumbsnap image a couple of times the resolution improves no end Edited by ab80 on Tuesday 15th November 19:41
(Click on the image to open a new thumbsnap page, then click on the image again... hey presto, lovely resolution)

No need to start Facetweeting, just Google TinyPic image hosting. Very simple and easy to use (and no restrictions on file sizes)
I'll check it out!neilf said:

Now that is weird. I won't ask how you worked it out, but it works (Click on the image to open a new thumbsnap page, then click on the image again... hey presto, lovely resolution)
My 3.4 just before its Cayman inbreeding programme started...

I think the Turbo would look better with black lettering like the Boxster on the previous page to be honest. Digga said:

Funnily enough, I watched the signwriter do this and the lettering was cut in black and then used to help position the red lettering IYSWIM.Cheib said:
I think it also needs the bit ahead of the front wheel arch like the Boxster has.
which is does not have on the classic stripe ! :-) the classic Porsche side stripe is just on the doors, the modern stripe has the front bit as the vents are in the way so they have a rounded rear section.
classic
and on my Spyder which is the classic stripe
And on the new 911 R
the GT4 stripe is the new style and if you order one for a Boxster it's seems to be a GT4 part number.
Also the Cayman R had the front section.

Not a fan of grey or silver then? Why the 4C? Would be interested in your thoughts on it. General opinion in the press was that it's a brave concept let down by the engine and gearbox. Saw one on the M4 recently appear behind me and wasn't sure if it was a 4C or 8C at first, I like the looks - even the lights.
