I agree with you re the bonnet badge. The McLaren logo alone would have looked much more cool.
It looks fantastic but the drive is in a different league to anything else I've owned - if I could afford the depreciation and maintenance costs I'd use it every day! As I do approx 25k miles a year that's not a practical proposition for me so I'll stick to sunny weekends.
Love it.

Mine, though it hasn't been delivered yet...
I asked the seller to swap the black BBS Sport GT3 wheels for newly refurbished BBS Sport Classic IIs. I think I made the right choice.
Love a Guards Red 996, I don't think we sold any when I was selling them new. I sold a Guards 996 C4S, but the guy cancelled the orderI asked the seller to swap the black BBS Sport GT3 wheels for newly refurbished BBS Sport Classic IIs. I think I made the right choice.

That's how I want my steering wheel to look, but grey as I have a grey interior and I think black would look odd. I like the gearlever too, far better than my block of ice aluminium one!
My 996 GT2 CS came with the expensive carbon steering wheel, which I immediately replaced with the much cheaper alcantara one from the GT3 RS. I still love it after many years of use. The carbon one sits in a box.Dan911 said:

I never liked the carbon ones even when they were new, I don't like the feel of themGassing Station | Porsche General | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
