Service bonnet catch release cable

Just noticed mine is fraying, anybody changed one before?

Got it , little teflon bung in the bonnet end. Bike shop here I come

Fixed with bike gear cable, cost £4 but it doesn't look like anyone is interested!

All fixed. Just need to remember I have no rear brake next time I take my bike out.
