Anybody else worried about the spoiler on the S?

Can anybody who's seen it in the flesh put me at ease?

I haven't seen it in the flesh but I prefer it to the old design from seeing the pictures, mainly because it now looks like a design feature rather than an aftermarket add-on.

Fantastic looking cars - the rear shot of that red Sagaris with the silver side exit cans looks incredible. I guees that will be the view most will see!

Hmm... It's hard to tell what these cars are really like just from a few photos, so I'm really looking forward to seeing the cars in the flesh at the weekend!

I'd be interested to see the front grill of the drop top, as it looks quite T400 ish, and also keen to see the new dash - I was told previously that it's now got the T400 dash, so if anyone can post a pic of these I'd be grateful!

Also interested to see how much bigger the boot is, as the useful space behind the seats is now taken up by the roll hoops and rear screen.

I'd also be interested to know if the drop top Tuscan S gets the huge batman spoiler of the black S shown in the pics. I don't think I like the look of this - from the photo above it looks very max power, so hopefully the S drop top comes without.

Question is though, do I stick with the Sagaris order, or do I switch it to the drop top Tuscan instead?? Decisions, decisions!

I like the drop top and the facelift

The rear spoiler of the Tuscan Coupe looks a bit finny on that photo. Is there a fin in the center?

Well thank you very much TVR... you finally make something that I'd actually want to replace my T350 (tuscan conv).... but nowhere near to bl00dy service it!

The photos do nothing for me, but hopefully it will look better in the flesh.

The spoiler looks very max power...

I think the front end looks a lot better - the lights in particular look really good. I'm not so sure about the rear end though - the little lip of a spoiler on the top of the boot looks a bit wierd. I always liked the rear indicators on the standard tuscan too (although appreciate that they couldn't keep them on the soft top).

Also, are the change up lights now mounted on the top of the centre of the steering wheel? If so, that's a huge improvement.

looks very Griffithesque to me. Very nice. If you have asked me if I thought faired in headlights would have suited the Tuscan I wouldnt have said so - but they work.

Will be on a high because TVR have done well.

Sad.

The facelifted Tuscan is still as stunning as the first.
Love the rear lights, apart from the Saggy, I would love one dearly...........

I have to say I think I prefer the Mk1. I agree with NickD and always felt the lip spoiler spoilt the lines at the rear of the Mk1 S. I'm disappointed they've added a mini lip to the Mk2.

Also, I don't think the black rear lights work as well with the shape of the Tuscan as they do with the T350/Sagaris, though it seems that is now set to be a key feature with TVR.

While I like the new front lights it is a shame to lose the cluster of lights at the front - that was a TVR design feature I really enjoyed.

On the other hand, the Sagaris looks much improved from the prototype. The back end looks less saggy and the cans look fantastic in metallic finish. In a more roadcar colour it looks very impressive - the red shows off it curves far better IMO. And with the helmet bulge I can even fit in without going Quasimodo.

All opinions are subject to change as soon as I get to fondle the cars in the flesh.

The interior looks good but not keen on the outside changes. It looks like a Griff to me, and I don´t think the rear lights work. As for the S rear spoiler......

I´m sure it looks a whole lot better in the flesh, but this car wouldn´t have had the same effect on me as seeing the original Tuscan for the first time did.

F*****G Gorgeous.

A worthy successor to the Griff (at last). I hope they can make enough to satisfy the demand.

In fact, thinking about it a bit, it's a worthy successor to the "E-Type". Its that pretty.

and get rid of what was a forced roof design, with a clumsy mechanism to store it in the boot.
The current Tuscan doesn't have any mechanism to store the roof in the boot apart from the driver's arms, so are you saying that all Tuscan drivers are clumsy?

I reckon the top section of roof of the drop top will fit in the boot in a similar way, so not much difference I'd imagine.
