Anyone know who I can send my spare key to to get a new battery fitted? Ive only got one key that works, if battery goes on that I'm stuffed.

Everywhere Ive spoken to wont take tvr ket as they can't guarantee it will work again once opened and new battery has been fitted plus most have never even been given a tvr key before

would be good to have 2 working keys!

cheers!

?

its a standard battery/ fitting

Gently prize open the key with a flat screwdriver and take the 2 small batteries/ or perhaps one if its been changed down to the local jewellers and purchase more. Pop back into the key and snap back together.

Or you could take it to Halfrauds and pay £20 for them to do it for you.

Tell them its a Vauxhall key wink

It is very easy to do your self as described above

If they do go wrong, carl baker can sort them. I have had 2 new keys coded to my car, but although Carl could do it, the car was at David Gerald and they sent the unit off to meta because they could not be sure how many keys had been coded in the past. 6 is the maximum.
