Mark 2S front, but maybe with some additional racing type winglets a little higher up just to assist during those occational high speed moments

Nice! Did those splitters help with keeping the nose down?

Interesting. So the Mk1 S won, closely followed by the standard Mk1.

They echo my own thoughts about the car, but I'm quite surprised by the result. Always thought the Mk 2 would be more popular.

Hi mart, yes I had seen one on eBay but didn't win the bid.
The desicion is made now. It's the black t440 grill from Plasticman! With an opening bonnet of course;)

Good choice!!!

Raceproved will do a carbon fibre T440 grille and spray it (you provide the paint) for £410.

I'd stick a mk1 or mk1 s tuscan on as thats what it is, when ever I see an early tuscan with a different front I just think Cat D everytime. Tuscan is a great looker is standard form cloud9

I think I just about prefer the mk1 grill over all others, dated perhaps. Definetely much prefer the mk1 lights though, the 3 lights in a row is what makes it distinctive over any other car!

I think ur right, unless you've had a prang, why would one change such a unique front end. However mines a cat d so I now have the choice. I have to admit that the pepper pot grill has never taely done it for me, hence the t440 decision.
Am now looking forward to chatsworth to see all the little mods people have done to their Tuscans to see what I can copy/evolve be insured by

I have always loved the 440 front, never used to like the pepperpot...but since owning one it has grown on me (has too...i dont have a bottomless pit to make it exactly what i want!)....but hey, bonus of the 440 grille, it not only looks nice but a damn site easier to clean and polish...i get right fed up of trying to do the pepperpor at the end of a clean in a hurry!!

(the joys of family life...always seem to rush the car these days!)

But it's not unique, every Tuscan made had the same grille...people 'change' grilles and such like to be 'unique'. Mine has undergone some mods and i'm pleased to say i've not seen one the same. I'm going to Chatsworth too and also look forward to seeing the other cars/mods.

Hi Folks,

I´m German and a newbie to the Forum here. I´d like the plasticman grille to the MK1 most, too. I never really liked the pepperpot on my Tuscan for real, it´s the only part of design i´d like to change. Where can i get one of those grills? I´d be very greatful for any Information about this veeeery nice looking part...

Best regards form over here,
Carsten

Here's the end result of mine. Plastic work was by plasticman. He has posted above on this forum.
Its not a simple replacement part though, as the old nose section needs parts of the replacement mouth section glass fibreing into place. Then you'll need some paint. There are others as seen in some of the other images which are a replacement part, but they bring the air ducts inwards, which I didn't like very much.
