Evening All! I've already had a few people contact me about the hinges on the recent bonnet conversions (mine, Benns, plus a few others). Same as the one's used HereI'll be making up a few more sets in a couple of weeks if anyone else is interested?

I'm interested. Shipping to the Netherlands is possible? I just had the car resprayed. But i think adding these hinges would be possible without needing another frontend respray?

Maurice, you should not need any paint putting these hinges on - if you are careful. Definitely remove the service bonnet and store carefully. Then it is easy to take the main bonnet off (and you will do this - many times) whilst you are 'trimming' the front to suit your car and hinges. Benn and MrChips have provided a good guide with links to the gas struts and end fixings they used. Worth reading. Nick

Ok sounds like there's definitely enough interest. The last sets I did worked out around £35 for the pair so hopefully I can get it down to the same price. I'm seeing my welding man tomorrow so should be able to confirm once i've checked he hasn't gone all upmarket! Oh, and I can post abroad no problem.

May be interested if Benn is able to offer the conversion service or I can find someone else to do it.
