Cheers smile

Yes noticeably lighter. I didn't get them on the scales but when I have a spider in one hand and one of these in the other, it was easy to feel the difference.

Just looked a the link you posted. Looks like Rota do some really nice alloys, including a very very similar wheel to the wheels on the Sagaris show car.....

Thread resurrection....

Is there a view on the difference between 18 and 19 inch Jade R's

Is the 19 inch wheel more prone to tramlining ?

Also what size tyres would be used on a 19 inch setup?

Cheers
Allan

Paul,

Thanks for the info.

I'm pretty set on getting a set of Jade R's now, but can you let me know about the ride with the 19's?

My car will have Nitrons so the suspension setup will be as good as it can be, I'm just a bit worried about the harshness of the ride compared to 18's.

Any thought's?

Cheers
Allan

I wouldn't worry too much about the harshness; the Nitrons are such a great improvement over the original shocks. I bought the Jade R's before installing the Nitrons and the difference in ride comfort was neglectable compared to the spiders. The new tyres (gone up from 18" on spiders to 19 " on Jade R) were a positive change in terms of grip but at the same time made the car more prone to tramlining due to increased width. Biggest and most noticeable change were the Nitrons, though (if we forget about the decat and Powertech cans for a moment, that is) eek

I think also available in black:
