Hi fellow Tuscan Owners
Im looking for some advice/guidance, or it probably is here already and would appreciate pointing in the right direction
I have a Tuscan Mk 1 which has had an engine rebuild to S spec by the master Dom prior to my ownership (800 miles ago) and it appears to have the standard 4.0 ltr exhaust set up
With that in mind and my desire to have a mean, loud and proud TVR, Im looking for suggestions on the best Manifold and exhaust for performance and sound

I have heard good things about the ACT big bore system. You need to bear in mind that it is 57mm throughout so you will need the bigger S spec cats and cans. The standard exhaust is 54mm throughout and the standard cats and cans are 54mm. It can get expensive changing to this system.
Prices
Exhaust system from cats but not including cans £445
Sharknose cans £365pr
Stainless standard look cans £345pr
Del is included/ free but VAT to be added

57mm cats aren't cheap if you can source some. You could always go the decat route but will need some 57mm cats at MOT time.
Another option is to get Tim at ACT to make a big bore system with 54mm at both ends then 57mm throughout the rest. You can then keep your standard 54mm cats and rear cans.

I have an S spec engine with 63.5mm big bore system with 54mm at both ends. I have the blueflame cans which give a throaty growl with plenty of pops and bangs on the overun.
I have a spare pair of Blueflame cans if interested, they are in the classifieds.
Where did you get your system? it could be the one for meI have a spare pair of Blueflame cans if interested, they are in the classifieds.
It was on the car when I bought it. The blueflame cans have now sold as well.
I spoke to Tim who advised that 63.5mm tailoring to 54mm isn't the best system. He advised that his big bore system (57mm) modified with 54mm at each end would give better results. But he would say that!
You could always buy my system and I'll get a new ACT system
