Apart from the slightly dodgy red leather, what is wrong with this Tuscan convertible ? http://classifieds.pistonheads.com/classifieds/use...It has been for sale since the start of the year and it appears to be at a half decent price for a Mk2 convertible. I know they aren't always easy to sell, but I'm amazed they still have this one on their stock list. What exactly is wrong with it ?

It's a reasonable price imo. The company seems to be well thought of on the forums so if you like the colour scheme then go for it.
Edit: didn't notice it was convertible =)

Looks fine to me, not many T2 convertibles exist, go for it! You won't regret it!

Couple of minor points to consider. If its registered in 2008 then theres a good chance that someone other than TVR finished it off Its already had 2 owners in 4 years Its done 29000 miles The colour !
On a plus point it has the new dash

I would say there looks to be very little wrong with this car, but more importantly go and see Tony. You won't find a more genuine guy and he'll take you through the car and it's history warts and all......if there are any. What I would say is that, depending on where you live....it can be quite a trek to Hexham and I think that puts a lot of people off.

Nice car good price, full convertibles are rare, the last were made in 2006 so 2008 reg might indicate it was finished off by an independant dealer. Set yourself up for next summer.

You are all coming up with the wrong answer... You were all supposed to point out everything that is wrong with it, so I can go back to my 12 year long effort of failing to buy a Tuscan I've come so close to going out and buying a many times Tuscan since 2000. I complicated matters buy renting a Tuscan Convertible for a week/1500 miles back in 2007, meaning that now the only acceptable Tuscan to me is the Convertible, which makes things a bit expensive

I saw that car a few weeks when mine was in for steering rack repair. Nothing wrong with it at all! Looks great. JR

Highly addictive.... Go for a test drive, that will seal it for you

On a plus point it has the new dash I had a 2008 Registered convertible. It was finished by the factory. IMO 2 owners in two years is not unusual and 7500 mile a year is hardly going to kill it Colour works well and it's a marmite thing. The suprise I got when I looked at it last week was how many miles it had done (was waiting to collect a car, not looking at buying another TVR) it looks to have done half that. Good buy for anyone looking for a convertible.

On top of that it is an S version, look at the convertible register on pistonheads for covertibles and see if it is registered here, that may give you a little more information. Don't hang around.

Don't hang around. Why do you think it's an 'S' ??? Does not look like one to me . It is on the register, used to belong to Manc Dwarf ,maybe still does if it is on sale or return.

And of course Tony isn't selling it as an 'S' which is a sure fire clue.....
This is actually a very nice car with a classic colour combination of the grey with red interior, and it's in mint condition. Nice car indeed.
