Hi All

Finally diagnosed my issues as faulty master cylinder, I do remember reading that they are
a ford KA item or girling 0.7.

Could anybody be so kind to point me in the direction of an alternative or am i best
to stump up the £70 for a tvr jobbie?

Thanks in advance

John

Hi yep thats the one, I have fitted one to mine just check thread size and type also I used the slightly larger bore and use your old push rod, these are good quality straight swap, not the best job due to the location

Hi Steve

Many thanks for the info, could you let me know as to why you went larger is there any benefit,
just before I purchase my one :-)

Doesn't the larger bore give you a heavier pedal and more chance of over stressing the clutch fingers due to too much travel?

Hi, It was some advice from a TVR man who put me onto the company, but its also some sound thinking behind it, the more oil you move the less you have to push the pedal down, as there isnt that much movement and there is also plenty of adjustment it makes sense, but you do have to remember to set them as you can over work the diaphragm fingers, mine is not at all heavy. Hope this helps , Steve
