Thanks for the info. Thats not much more than the cost of having spiders refurbed and straightened!
Do you know somewhere that can straighten the original spider alloys Toady?

Ordered them from here:

I think they were £585 delivered (set of 4). Ordered them in silver and then got them resprayed for £75 each (after having the passenger side ones properly curbed at France toll stations, that is). The new tyres required were actually more expensive than the wheels.

I have received them with incorrect offset but they were friendly enough to pick up the wrong ones and deliver the right offset for me next day free of charge.

I use:
Rear: 10x19 ET35 5x114.3
Front: 8.5x19 ET35 5x114.3

Hope this helps
Hi,

Your wheels look great, can I ask do they rub the aches at all and did you have to adjust the suspension?

Christian.

No, they don't rub at all, even when driving on holiday with passenger and lots of luggage. I have Nitrons fitted and could reduce ride height even more without rubbing. With standard suspension, I was running the risk of illegal immigrants hiding under the wheel arches, so no danger of rubbing either, but driving was scary and it just looked wrong:

With Nitrons:

Still plenty of room to go lower:

What size tyres are you fellas running on the 19" Jade Rs?
Is there a preferred manufacturer for best results?

Any one tried these as an alternative to spiders, they look similar and are available in wider rears.

i've always loved theses wheels and think they would look great. From the side they have the same profile as they curve out a bit and suit the curves of the tuscan. seriously thinking about getting them in 19's maybe even the 2 piece split rim. anyone good with photoshop to give me an idea?

He sent me another pic laster last night smile Must be the only Tuscan that comes with a bench seat.....

First wheel I've ever seen that looks as great as the original spiders.
Does the 19" affect the ride (must do)?
what is the weight/strength?

don't set the car too low; you need the suspension travel for optimal handling (already a weak point on the Tuscan).

The owner says it feels great on the road, and i know he doesn't do track days. I can ask him and get back to you if you are serious about buying some. He's a client of mine. I cannot imagine him liking a jarring ride, so imagine the ride is good. I do remember him saying the offset/size/tyre combination improved the handling, and he had the standard set up before.

To my eyes (and his, he's 45ish) they look that bit better than the somewhat similar Jade Rs, which strike both of us as, shall we say, appealing to the younger driver.

Hi Toady, simply put, I think they are absolutely excellent. Great grip in both dry and wet; inexpensive. Great looks, too. Would buy again.

Thanks, what have you had on the car to compare them with?
