I don't have the official documents so don't know the proper name...but it was just "normal" black and the picture was taken after a £40 pre-sale full valet. It does look nice doesn't it.

When did you sell and what kind of money did it go for? (If you don't mind me asking)

Pay attention LAC , I answered that on page 1!

I sold it 2 years ago privately for £27k (having bought it two and a half years earlier for £25k from a local dealer). Less than £2k spent on servicing etc so free Tuscan motoring for over 2 years.

You look like you've got a bargain.

Ha just went back a read your post, must have not acknowledged it first time round.

I should maybe ask tony what options were ticked..

Is there anyone with an option list with there paperwork ?? (Unlikely)

I'm dying to go back and see it but it's only been 5 days! I said I'd pick it up nearer mid to end of April

I still keep reading things on them, mainly on how to look after engine.

Like don't stat prat it from cold and let it sit and idle?? Drive off as soon as you can.
They don't like a lot of load so use gears...
Basically they like to be driven hard when fully warmed up... Hmmm

Saw your car when I dropped off mine last thursday, great car, congrats and welcome to the 2S fold!
(Yes the Sag is a bit better but twice the price and with a few tweeks the 2S comes very close. And it's more beautiful IMHO.)

HHC is a great group of guys, skillful and very trustworthy, and Tony is a very nice guy.

Have it for 5 years now. Been great. Changed the engine which got a bit tired for a 4.3 last year.
If you're ever in the south of France give me a shout, we'll meet up.

Long way to go Hexham from south of France for a service.

Am spending a week in south of France after Le Mans in June. Be good to meet there.
Have a family place in Gassin? Haven't been for 20 years since I was a teenager so if you know that area any touristy tips will be a help

There is no alternative in France and I know Tony for some time now. At least I know it's done right.

Gassin is near St Tropez, isn't it? That's a long way from my place (Dordogne), some 400 miles ... Maybe we can meet on your way down/up.

I need to sort out my route but want to head up via the Milau viaduct and then across.

My geography is poor in England never mind France.

Will see how far off the route it is...
