So after a month of waiting I get back my refurb AP 5200 callipers. They look great, but come with a bag of bits which are missing parts. I am not amused given the hassle the Co. have caused.
In the likely event that the Co. can not find them, does anyone know where I can source parts for the callipers. I am missing two anti rattle plates which I know I can get from Clever T etc, but I am missing the 8 small allen head bolts which hold the calliper guides and I cant find a supplier.
Also does anyone have an close up photos of their callipers without pads so that I can see how to rebuild.

For the allen bolts if you can measure the length required and diameter of hole which will be metric you can buy high tensile grade 12.9 allen bolts from a huge number of suppliers. Grade 12.9 is the highest strength bolt - I would hazard a guess that they are M6 bolts someone else might be able to post the length required. Getting the correct length is essential.

I will have a look at mine tomorrow and let you know if they are M6 bolts.

AP caliper spares catalogue can be found in APs site and some motor factors are distributors for them. Local one to me is Camberley Auto Factors. They got all the bits I needed down to the little screws and stainless pad slider plates.

Thanks for the help and advice. I will give Camberley a call as severely hacked off having expected to be able to use the car this weekend.

If you get stuck and want them before the Bank Holiday a decent nut and bolt shop should be able to get them for you. It's unlikely Camberley will have them on the shelf.

But of a drive but Namrick in Hove should have them in stock and in stainless too.

OK thanks for the advice. No surprise to find that the Co can not locate the originals, advising that they were in the box, so off on a web hunt to find out where I can source those advised.
