my dog loved the ride with the roof off so much! I guess there was a risk if I was in an accident, but we cant all live like that can we,surley we wouldn't have chosen a Tuscan for the safest car in the world???
I'll second that! One of my main reasons for getting a Tuscan was to accommodate a new dog as my VX220 at the time had no rear room at all. He seems happy as Larry on the shelf, particularly with the rear screen out. I do tie his lead through the seat slots as a token gesture. The only down side is I've got another woofer in the back as well, sub-woofer that is, but he doesn't seem to absorb to much of the bass!

He's not allowed near the Tuscan - He has a Subaru Forester to transport him around or in this case the X3!

My Olde Tyme Bully...

My Aylestone bully who we rescued...

Neither are going anywhere near my pride and joy, just the old VW...

You can fit a spinone in a Tuscan (pre-retrim of course)

Happy to see this thread run and run, there's some real dog love going on here smile
Just got in from a walk with my 2 after 3 hours avoiding the m11 car park, no better way of unwinding.

Any news? Sometimes think it's more worrying than kids being ill, they can explain the pain at least. Hope all ok.

The initial thoughts were arthiritus but the X-rays show the arthiritus isn't very advanced and have diagnosed him with snapped cruciates or seriously damaged.

I'm not so sure as his other leg had identical symptoms after I was last at vets (only went in for boosters) and after a check over vet must have manipulated his leg too vigorously while checking him over that he damaged / hurt him... But a week of rest sorted it.

His suggestion was a 2-3k op... So we going to leave it a few days and see if he can start walking on it again. Then reconsider our options if it's still causing him discomfort.

It is tough like you say a dog can't tell you what's up or how scared he is...

I'd consider a joint formula. One of the bulldogs has spondolosis and arthritis, the other just arthritis, the Bordeaux seems to suffer with tendinitis. We use arthri-aid and synoquin, plus I give them dl-phenyalinine for natural pain relief.

The bulldogs are both off anti inflammatory drugs now and have spells going like mentalists lol

This and rest. Dogs have an amazing capacity to bounce back if given the chance to recover slowly.

Thanks for that.. Had a few bits of advice so will try a few things...
He's only 7 so not really old.

Plenty of rest is on the cards meaning I get to see what this Tvr ownership is all about

And I thought I was the only Tuscan owner to have a Spinone! Although he's just had a hair cut and looks more like a poodle at the moment.
