Looking at replacing my rear screen for one from Clever Trevor / Racing Green. They are available in: Silicon Green, Light Grey, Dark Grey or Blue tints, not sure how heavy these tints are so If anyone has a photo of any of the above on or off the car it would be much appreciated.

Get your tints out, get your tints out, Get your tints out for the lads!

Cheers

I've got a clear mk2 rear screen sat in garage (still in the original bag). Was only in the car for 3 weeks, been in the bag ever since 2005! As I don't have a TVR anymore its no good to me wink

Cheers Andy, not to late, thanks for keeping the thread alive. Black works really well against your reflex charcoal, but don't think it would work with our cascade blue..

Out of interest what's it like from the rear view mirror?

I've got the blue tint on a Chameleon Blue, very subtle but nice.

The only 2 pics I have I'm afraid.

Light Grey.

It's very similar to my shadow chrome wheels in colour. Quite subtle yet definitely dark enough for my tastes. On a light car I reckon it's perfect.

And that's me decided, light grey it is. Where did you buy this screen from?

There seems to be a large difference in prices between Tvr power and the new official supplier/RG.

Interesting thread this and not something I had not considered historically. Did you get the original screen tinted or have to purchase an entirely new one? And if the latter, what about fit concerns?

I sourced it from TVR Power. Purchased because I cracked my original screen when I opened the boot too fast and the hinge caught the edge of the perspex.

Fitment is perfect and an exact match to the one it replaced.

Don't think it is possible to get the original ones tinted, so you can consider it a replacement part. At about £150 I didn't think it was unreasonable and was probably going to buy one anyway before I damaged the old one.

The original ones of Perspex can't be tinted.

If you have an early car it might have a slightly too small screen anyway.

I got my green tinted one from TVR Parts a few weeks ago and the noise level in the cabin has dropped incredibly because the thing actually fits now!

Not sure what to do with the old one really!
