Hello Dave and Dot,

Very impressed with the car, you have looked after it well over the years! must be some kind of a record 9 years, cool drives like a brand new car.

What is the extra seat cushion for? my dog sits on and can now see over the dash!

Has it a 3.73 diff with a CR gearbox? as it seems to rev higher at 70 ish, although it returned 30mpg coming back from Poole last week biggrin

Tony Gilbert persuaded me to have the number plate, sure he dined out well on that one!biglaugh

Here she is again:

Hi Ceri, Thanks for your kind comments smile

The factory made the extra cushion for Dot. When we went to see the car in build, one of the trimmers noticed she was only little so made her an extra seat cushion so she could see over the wheel smile

Not sure about the diff ratio but the gearbox is not close ratio. You will notice that the acceleration is epic though. It won the sprint at the diamond rock event back in 2006 again some supposedly tasty cars. Its never been out accelerated biggrin

The fuel consumption has always been excellent after John Ravenscroft did a bespoke remap on TVR Power rollers back in 2007 ish. That was when I was developing the NTEL decat pipes.

He was a cheeky bd selling the plate separately, feckin' shyster!!!!!! That only cost me £399 from the DVLA when it was first registered. Glad you kept it with the car though thumbup

I have a couple of spare sleeves for the exhaust cans. Some plain and some with a "carbon" pattern stamped into the stainless. I also have the original cats for it. The standard cats will not fit as it has "S" / Sagaris manifolds with a standard exhaust. Oh, you might want to get the geo set up to your liking as I set it up to suit my driving style. You might notice it turns in a bit quick smile

Thanks for all the info Dave, very interesting, bespoke mapping seems to be the way forward for perfomance/econonomy balance, would be interested in the sleeved items if available?

The geo set up is absolutely spot onbiggrin Good luck with the racing this yearthumbup

Time for some roof off/rear screen out action!

I made the exhaust cans to be rebuildable so the external sleeves can be removed by drilling out the rivets. The sleeves then slide off. I've got a few spares ones plain stainless or patterned.

Not done much racing this year, the engine, gearbox, clutch and ignition system all st themselves at Rockingham in May frown Only just finished getting everything fixed. Should be ut at Anglesey in a couple of weeks though.
