Hey guys,

I'm looking to buy a Tuscan S and have been keeping an eye on one which is currently in the classifieds:

http://www.pistonheads.com/classifieds/used-cars/t...

It's not my preferred colour but that's easily changed. Just wondered if any of you knew it as it has been up for sale for a long time now and my only concern is it's 5 owners so I would be the 6th...

Cheers,

Adam

^^ why not?

It looks like a properly organised event rather than the local MaccyD's car park so I don't see why it should be an issue!

Drag racing at a organised event that has super sticky surface and hooning flat out?!?!?! Doesn't sound conjusive to its health. Trust me, I use to race a Santa pod a fair amount.

I'd be checking gearbox, diff etc

Drag racing kills road cars

Obviously that's just my opinion

Thanks for the feedback guys! Think I'll go check it out, if it's still available and give it a thorough going over.

Cheers,

Adam

Hi,

I think you might find it's had 7 or 8 owners actually. A nice guy selling it though (I went along on Saturday)

Yes and no. It's not a private sale but a couple of guys who like cars and do it as a hobby keeping a selection of various cars then selling them after a while, they probably have about 15 cars there in tota

It was a nice enough car but the number of owners concerned me and there wasn't enough service history for my liking. I'm a fussy old bugger and the search goes on. Funnily enough the first car I saw at Bespoke was the nicest as was the guy I dealt with (Mark Kent) and perhaps I may regret not buying it at some point in the future.

Not at the moment.... ask me in a few months when I'm still looking.

BTW looked at the photo of yours, and it does look good in the red and thanks for your advise yesterday.

Also a big thank you to Speed 3 for his valuable advise and time on Saturday and taking me out in his Tuscan. At this rate I may even know what I'm talking about soon !
