after 104 posts............you take teetering to a new level, don't you ?

Get one you like, Tamora/Tuscan/T350 or a Chimeara if it needs be a bit cheaper and try it, if you don't like it, sell it, you will not loose money over it (if at all you'll make some...)

good luck !

Definitely sold on getting a Tuscan now and this one drove very nicely today. Just wondering what the wise folk on here think about it from what they can see.

Bloody hell that is nice! But yes seems quite pricey. More grey than silver which appeals to me. I love my Griff and bought it from Str8six so can vouch for them smile

Absolutely - if I was in the market for a mark 1 Tuscan then this would be it - price wise that bit extra is well worth it for piece of mind.
OK I am totally biased as I bought my Tuscan from STR8SIX - Mate, trust me you can't go wrong!!

Stunning colour combo - really like it!

GO FOR IT!!

With this dealer, you are buying peace of mind as I think they offer a wear and tear warranty? If you don't want to tinker with these cars or are not able to, that is worth it. If you think the car is what you want but not happy with the price, how about asking for a longer warranty and a mid term service in the price. They can only say no!

Ps, nice looking car!

Lot of support for the car today.

What I would ask you is if its worth £8k more than this:
http://www.pistonheads.com/classifieds/used-cars/t...

And double the price of this:

Its not as though these are Cat D dogs with stratospheric miles. To all intents and purposes they are directly comparible...

You can bet your ass that the STR8-6 car will be absolutely perfect in every way possible as their prep is something else.. However the cheaper car for sale privately is cheap enough to allow for a 4.3 conversion should the engine go, and you would still be quids in.. I would still want it checking over by a specialist first or have a chat with whoever services it, good luck.

Just looked at the two cars in question - without going into detail, on looks alone the one at STR8SIX wins hands down - If I were you I'd be on that phone.

Hi,

I bought my MK1 Tuscan from them a couple of months ago, and looking at prices now may well seem a little inflated to what else is around, but having viewed a few around the same price, this was by far the best example condition wise, but not with as many mods, and I liked it. I've also paid for piece of mind, as so far the service I have received has been excellent.
However, when I picked it up there was another MK1 on the ramp, that I had looked at 6 months earlier, and for about 3K cheaper. Lets just say I'm glad I didn't buy that one, as although superficially everything looked ok, it had a list of work required as long as your arm.

If you like it Buy it.
I didn't at the time because I don't like red in my interiors, although this one does look good.

I looked at another 6 cars before I bought mine recently and two things became clear:
Firstly you can't judge a car by the photos - rough cars can look good so don't try and compare prices without actually seeing the car. (This goes for all cars obviously not just Tuscans).
Secondly there are very big differences between these cars in terms of condition and history. It depends what you want - I've always bought the very best cars I could find and they aren't the cheapest at the time of purchase but in the long run they will be the bargains.

engine refresh????
Looks like a cheap repair, i would use other describtion.

But why do you not give this guy a call??????????
Ask exactly what you want to know, if you do not get exact and friendly answers
go away.

You have the choice, take/look for/ the next one.

cheap repair? And what other description would you use? Genuinely curious....seeing as it was my car at the time and the work was done at Str8Six.

Or are you just talking bks Uwe?
