The excellent AAS in Newcastle removed the back boxes off mine, I'm sure there will be somebody in Essex who can do something similar. Pictures for reference:-

Ah that should be dead easy to sort out, you might even be able to do it with off the shelf bits, jetex make bends that have a swaged end e.g. 2.5" - https://www.jetex.co.uk/jetexstore/index.php?_a=ca...
