Hi all,

I'm trying to produce an information sheet for my Tuscan, for use at shows.

It is a 2001 MK1 4.0 full Swordfish spec.

Would anyone on here have access to information that would provide the details of how many MK1's were produced in this spec, or be able to point me in the right direction.

John K.

Mine still is - Swordfish exterior colour, not sure what the interior colours were for true Swordfish though. A starting point is the Tuscan mileage wiki at the top of this forum.

Thanks,
Just checked the wiki, yours appears to be the only Chameleon Blue there, that makes 2 with mine.
There must be more, apart from the original.
I believe 6 were used during the making of the film, but don't know what became of them.
Are there any other obscure sources of information out there?

The RG one was the original, and the one used for marketing, as seen on motoring programmes.

I viewed one when looking for my first Tuscan... wish I'd snapped it up in hindsight.

When the engine gave up the ghost on the car I did buy it's replacement came from a swordfish being made ready for an LS conversion.

I suspect there are probably quite a few out there.

Mine is a chameleon green. Could mine be a swordfish?

Mine's Chameleon Blue, which is what I have been told is swordfish, my interior is this;

Which matches all the you tube video's of W998 AFR, which was used in the film, press releases, motoring shows and is the one RG have.
Not sure what the colours are called though.

Have just read 4 cars were made for filming not 6.

One was in the Blackpool area and was on show at Mike Vernons workshop during last years BNG. The car is silver which if i remember correctly he advised was it's original colour - it was sprayed for the film then returned back to it's original spec upon return.

This I think could be along term project, something I will invest in. already I've pulled off pics from google.

I will start to create data based on information from the web, give feed back and rely on info from others, so please give generously.

So if anyone knows of a swordfish Tuscan please add the details here or pm me.

Many Thanks

John K

So far 11 including mine, W998 AFR, photo of the four together and others I've pulled off the net.

Still to do some serious looking on PH though.

Interesting that at least one car was in apparently both Swordfish and Looney Tunes.

Mine is definitely an ex-LT car (although now white), and both bodyshops that have had it in for paint commented that it was blue before it was sprayed silver.

Belongs to a family friend. The owner used to work at the TVR factory.

Found another one today, a rare find as the owner is not a member of any clubs or forums and has owned the car since new.
Now up to 13, 12 MK1's and 1 Mk2.
