Anyone interested in doing a run down to goodwood from Kent/Essex. The weather is looking dry in the morning and its a good run down across the South Downs way.

We'll be going down the m23 around 7:30 coming off at bolney if anyone fancies it.

If there's any interest we can gather at the m23 services!

Edit - should have said this is Sunday. Link posted below.

Matt, quite a lot of the Hampshire folks have registered with Goodwood - so expect to see a selection of Chimaeras and Griffiths on the track.

I'll be going in my Tuscan....expect we'll be directed to the parking enclosures though!

Nick

Can't confirm till late afternoon tomorrow but I might be up for that. Was also planning to watch a bit of the London-Brighton Vintage car run, runs within 1/2 miles of my house near Redhill.

Cool. It's touch and go with the weather at the moment. Could be heavy rain.

Hi Matt

I would have joined you but I have to look at a new garage and workshop and I went to start up my Cerb last night and battery flat as a pancake even though its on a trickle charge so I will be messing around with that as well and I have checked weather and it does not look good

We will have to catch up one day as Andy has told me all about your engine would be good to have a peak at it, I have Powers 4.5 in my T350

I meet up with Andy and go for drives maybe meet up with him as well and go out for a drive

Hi Gary would be good to meet up with you and Andy. To be honest unless there's a dramatic change in forecast it's now looking like a washout, and I'm not sure I really fancy a two hour drive on the wet!

FFF indeed. Don't talk about throttle bodies, Andy didn't do the first ones but helped out diagnosing the original machinists issues. Arrrrrrgh. There's a link on my profile to the saga

Don't tell me about problems with so called mechanics had issues with a tt when they changed my clutch slave cylinder on my Cerb asked him to check it as eating them and he said all sorted two months later it went again, asked another mechanic to see why tyre rubbing on arch on T350 and got car back and wheel did not look right and it turned out they dropped the one on it that had just been refurbhed and put an old one on, same one I let them try and find miss / flat spot changed so much and £500 later they say it's all fixed picked it up and drove 100 yards and still the same, turns out to be worn camshaft so at TVR Power having engine rebuilt

Anyway when you get a free Sunday maybe meet up with Andy, he bought my Tuscan, weeks are running out though as I am off to Arras with a few others 12th December for 3 days then it's xmas and T350 back to body shop for some snagging in January but I will have Griff to run in
