Just a little update on this, dropped off the wheels and new tyres this morning at the wheel refurb company (Alloyfix in Westerhope, Nr Newcastle) and got a call later indicating that three of the wheels were buckled which may explain the mild vibration at speed.

They're going to straighten them before re-finishing them and fitting the new Toyo's.

A tad late I know but IMHO 225/35s are a bit stretched on 8.5 spiders. I think SP12s are 8" wide fronts which are better suited.
