Looking for a Tuscan
Discussion
Hi guys
being a Griff owner I don't think I've posted in this forum before. Trying to talk the missus into letting me buy a Tuscan to keep the Griff company and have been looking around and reading up.
Ideally I would like an S but reckon they may be out of budget having seen the recent one at JAmes Agger and the currrent one on private sale at £30k.
Saw this one at Offord and wondered if anyone knew the car or had any comments re the car or dealer http://www.offordmotorco.co.uk/used-cars/tvr-tusca...
Depending on the car/seller I would probably commission an independent report, but living in the frozen north I'm trying to avoid doing a million miles viewing if I can get a heads up on one
cheers
Mark

Fantastic looking car Mark. Don't worry about the exhausts, if you don't like them there are plenty of us with some original ones stored in the back of our garages.
It's a nice spec and is very low mileage having covered only 2,000 miles per year. No mention of any engine rebuild being done which is a negative against it. It may be fine but it's still an early Speed6 so cover your bases with either an extended warranty or get TVR Power to give it a once-over and put one of their warrantys on it.
It would compliment the Griffith nicely

Looks a very nice car, though the cans are horrid.
Offord are/used to be a TVR specialist Indie but lost their way a few years ago and gained a very bad rep. My understanding is they've been trying hard to rebuild this but are struggling a bit to shake off the old reputation. Bear in mind I live 10 minutes from Offord yet choose to do a 3 hour round trip to get my car serviced instead.
That said, it by no means indicates that this car is in any way a bad one and in fact really does look a nice one from the pics. I'm not about tomorrow else I'd happily drive over and take a look for you - if you have had no luck by next Saturday I can do so if you like?

As far as I can remember its sale or return and someone on here has been to see it. I can't for the life of me remember who but I did speak to them over the phone about a car I had seen and they mentioned this car. I'll have a think and try and remember the user ID
