Any ideas about this? It's the small side panel that is permanently fixed to the roof panel, at the rear it looks to have come away as the gap is larger and is not fixed solidly. I'm not sure how they are assembled etc?
Also under the main bonnet there is a patch of insulation, the bitumen and aluminium 1mm thick type. I assume this was fitted to prevent heat damage to the paint from the exhaust manifolds, however there is minor paint damage and I do not believe this type is very effective. I was actually wondering about making a stainless heat shield, held between the manifolds and bonnet on brackets, but this may be tricky to do.
