Did they change the interior on the tuscan mk1's as I am looking at a 2000 registration and the door cards look different to that of a 2002. Also was a/c available on the 2000models

The very early cars had door panels which were mostly flock (no upper leather on the trim.

Also the stereo surrounds were different and didn't have door release buttons on them.

Neither of these were too bad... But the early software for the dash was a bd... It wasn't possible to click the display button to override a fault warning message at all... so something like a dodgy door micro switch would leave you without the ability to see your vitals and a high pitched beeper noise until you could fix the issue.

All of these were different by my early 2001 car.

I think they changed the door cards around 2002. The early cars had a section "missing" from the top of the door, so just all flock. The very earliest cars had no door release buttons either side of the wireless, pressing the window switch in would open them. Aircon was an option - be careful that you check, because even cars without will still illuminate the blue LED when you press the heater button in.

Mine was a late 2000 Tuscan

It had aircon
door releases were either side of the radio
door cars were all flocked apart from the door pocket which was leather
it had full leather trim, which was an option

Year 2000 Tuscans had flocked door cards without the upper trim.

I had mine recovered as the flock was not very good

Only the very early Tuscans did not have the door opening buttons next to the radio, but a lot were retrofitted with the later radio pod, however there were even two sizes of these, one that would accept the stereo trim and one that that would not. I changed the radio pod on mine when I upgraded the stereo.

The other dial is for the dash lights, it should dim them.

One is wipers (as you have said) and the other dims the dash pod back lights.

Thanks that clears up a few questions. I'm guessing the later door cards are still available from the trimmers.
